Poem of a light filled spring of water-internally described.
Eternal spring.

My patience tested, fury swims atop the surface of my soul,
I dig deep quickly to reveal, the dark, cool bottomless serenity,
I’m able to get there quicker now, to navigate with more predictability,
To arrive more quickly at the emotional slow river, no fear lurks beneath,
No beast can burden the grace of this continual rhythm-not allowed.

Although dark, it is a clean dark, a deep cistern of calm and health,
To replenish the frazzled outside wrapper which is my body and emotions,
I surrender to its depth, it’s stillness, its clarity, and its cleanliness,
It is pure, remind myself to be thankful.

I am limited to occasional drinks, long drinks, of this retreat,
Then I must return,
Into my normal daily environment, with,
It’s craziness, distractions, noises and annoyances,
But now added is the peace that I may return,
Again, in moments, which is usually the luxury given,
I’m back to drink of satiating water once again.

Aside from Yoga teachings this starts to lean,
I turn this to the Lord and am left speechless,
Of the intense glow inside my soul,
It seems a candle’s lit the water deep.

I see a light it gives me hope,
This place a spring, light filtering it,
I lay my head down in my hands and weep.
Thank you again for sharing this my Lord.
