I twist
Like a leaf in the wind,
Still clung to the tree
Too green in the stem,
I fold
Like a cloud in the sun,
Too close to the heat
And I am undone,
I break
Like a life spent twice,
Too much for the asking
Too firm in the price,
I fall
Like love from the sky,
Too much weight to survive,
Too much fear it will die.
