A poem about the one that got away.
I miss the way you look at me, the way your eyes lit up.

I miss the way you talk to me, the way words were never enough.

I miss the way you hold me, the way I felt so safe.

I miss the way you love me, the way your heart was my safe place.

I miss the way you laugh at me, the way your smile would shine.

I miss the way you kiss me, the way you showed me you were mine.

I miss the way you touch my face, the way you made me glow.

I miss the way you smile, the way your happiness would never quite show.

I miss the way you say my name, the way it was music to my ears.

I miss the way you make me cry, the way you kissed away all my tears.

I miss the way you break my heart, the way you made me strong.

I miss the way you and I are, the way we were never wrong.
