This is what I think the zoo tiger thinks.
I see people passing by,
One by one they go.
Some of them stop by my cage,
And look at me with wonder.
All of them are just the same.
My life is so boring.

Until one girl,
She had the same eyes as I.
She was caged,
Just as I.
I went close to her,
Close enough to be touched.

And she did,
My word what a touch,
It sent a shock down my spine.
Then her mother came,
And took her away,
I was so sad.

I yowled,
I cried,
I wanted her,
To be near me,
And just to touch me,
And scratch behind my ears.

But these steel bars,
Kept me away from her,
My ears fell flat against my head.
And this is all my life.
This is the sad life of a zoo tiger.
