storm, brave, fear, fun, lightning, noise
The boom, boom, boom wakes me from my sleep
Through the hall I hear them creep
Sneaking in the darkness I hear
Little footprints everywhere

It's just a little thunder storm
The power keeps going out without warn
Lightning strikes through the night
My heart lurches, in fright

Although we know we are safe at home
We still don't want to be alone
Little footprints now appear
Jump in bed, nothing to fear

All curled up under the blankets
Storm is nothing, we aren't frantic
Soon we will feel the calm
But right now we will just hold on

Even the cats are under the bed
Scared to peek out their heads
But I am brave, I have no fear
Because my little soldiers are here

Brave with their teddy's in hand
Prepared to defend the land
Boom, Boom, Boom another strike
We are hanging on in fright

Suddenly the cats appear
Quiet now, nothing to fear
The storm is over, it has past
Now we can sleep at last.
