a poem about writer's block
a blue chipped ceramic mug
black coffee
 
no word uttered
hate for the blank page
and my unmoving hand
 
one-fourth cup skim milk
three teaspoons of sugar
 
words flow…
         I used to love her.
         The scent of her overpowered me,
         but now just a scratch on my brain.
