A poem where all the lines start with the letter "D"
Danté Ridgemar was a young lad,
Dapper and daring, though often sad.
Dark and cramped was his small home,
Despairing Danté was never alone.

Dexter, Dryfus, and Debbie Marie,
Dreadful siblings were these three.
Deriving pleasure in seeing him cry.
Delighted were they, that he could not fly.

Days into nights, months into a year,
Driven was he though, never a fear.
Dreaming always of that fateful day,
Dastardly siblings would be left far away.

December brought with her a wintry air,
Danté lost with it all reason for despair.
During one of his nightly tries,
Danté did soar up into the skies.

Deliriously happy was Danté at last,
Departing was he from his horrible past.
Dreams and good fortune lay on the horizon.
Danté Ridgemar; A happy young dragon
