I wrote this poem after I lost one of my best friends in a motorcycle wreck.
When you wake up tomorrow,
And know I am not here.
Do not worry about me,
For you know I am always near.
When you see the sun in the sky,
Or feel the breeze across your face,
Always know that I am with you,
But in a different place.
I know you still love me
But you have to let me go.
I was taken from you for a reason,
A reason even I do not know.
But when you see something beautiful,
I know you'll think of me.
Please don't cry,
I'm where I want to be.
If you remember me always,
We'll never be apart.
And always keep my memory,
Right there in your heart.
