Our first love? Innocent, untainted. Nostalgia when we remember what its like.
Within the crevices of my heart, nostalgia seeps through.
A wanting desire so familiar and true.
Growing stronger as I keep thinking of you.
The love we had was so young and innocent.
So fragile like a new born child.
Not wanting to let go and so afraid to hold.
So naive and so carefree.
We use to dash across with the love we had.
Not caring for a thing in the world.
In our eyes, ours was perfect.
Ours was real and untainted.
We had pride in it.
Our destinies were inscribed on it.
But how wrong we are to think so.
Our lives used to be on the same railway track.
But circumstances and fate led to the divergences of our paths.
The love lost.
Its innocence disappeared.
And now there is nothing left except the memories.
Those fragments of episodes that we hold so dearly.
Like a newborn child.
We hold so dearly, so afraid to let go.
