This is about someone who wants to break away and become their own person.
You always tried to help me.
You had the best at heart.
I knew I could always count on you,
to help me get a start.

But you started to take advantage of me.
You tried to turn me into what you wanted to see.
But that's not who I am inside,
and that's not who I want to be.

I'm sick of your hunger.
I'm sick of your greed.
Find someone else to control,
and stay away from me.
