I straighten my hair, I shorten my skirt, I make up my face, he looks down my shirt
I straighten my hair

I shorten my skirt

I make up my face

He looks down my shirt

I darken my eyes

Arrive at the place

I flash a smile

He quickens the pace

Gave him too many tries

Wouldn't give me a sign

He didn't play fair

Someday he'll be mine

Ever since you left

It's always been the same

I've been out

Just playing the game

Somehow this is revenge

For all you put me through

How you'd love me forever

And I thought it was true

This is how I'm healing

Loving anyone but you

You would get frustrated

When I didn't look my best

But now I'm very different

You can put your mind to rest

I get anyone I want

And I never feel depressed

I could make you happy

The way I'm acting now

But instead of calling you

I stand and give a bow

Cause I'm taking my revenge

And now you know how
