Poem about a personal relationship, death, and love.
Scream me something beautiful.
Scream me something real.
Show me that I’m alive in this body where everything seems so unreal.
Too many plastic smiles; too many hopeless dreams.

Scream to me; wake me from this nightmare.
Wont you scream to me, in your beautiful way.
Scream to me & tell me that I’m okay…

Now that she’s dead & gone they say she was never real.
They try to tell me lies & fill my head with what they feel.
Can’t they see this coming?
Can’t they see me now?

Scream to me; wake me from this nightmare.
Wont you scream to me, in your beautiful way.
Scream to me & tell me that I’m okay…

They say “yeah she’s a screamer”.
They say “yeah, she’s no good”.
Can’t they see that she is falling?
Can’t they see that she’s not here?

He’s taken her far away now; where everything is real.
& it’s the last time they’ll hear her say…

Scream to me; wake me from this nightmare.
Wont you scream to me, in your beautiful way.
Scream to me & tell me that I’m okay…
Just tell me that I’m okay…
