Flowers behind a fence
Beauty locked away
All my hopes a dreams
Shut inside to stay
I want to cry
To scream and plead
But the words be locked inside
Making me bleed
The pureness of snow
The thorns of a rose
Always so good
At letting me know
How weak I am
How useless too
How lost I am
What I can and can’t do
I’m a flower behind a fence
Beauty locked away
All my hopes and dreams
Shut inside to stay
