I wrote this for my son and my dad, my son teaching grandpa how to use the computer...
There was a time not long ago, when pointing was not polite,
and a click was the sound a door made when shut and locked at night/
Now a days children young and old alike,
seem to be pointing and clicking with much delight.

Pencils, pens, paper, and the eraser are becoming obsolete,
typo's taken care of with point, click, and delete.
Homework done via the world wide web,
spell checks and calculations no longer done in the head.

Long hours at the library no longer a need,
Research and reference on disc's you don't have to read.
Our children advancing with outstanding knowledge,
with fifteen year olds now attending college.

The saying of old and wise is politically incorrect,
now young and wise is what we find and come to expect.
