Christmas morning with family
When the temperatures fall to zero
and the frost forms on the sills
I'll be tucking you in and setting up holiday thrills

stockings hug with bows of red
dinner toasts and prayers said
all preparations done from goodness within
the countdown for Santa now begins

the sun sprinkles off the snow so bright
treasures unfold like crystals of light
a steaming mug of coffee on the tables end
the family gathers for the yearly trend

gifts exchanged old and new
here honey this one's for you
kisses under the mistletoe holds no fear
all in the spirit of Christmas cheer
