This is a poem I wrote about a friend that I fell in love with after growing up with him.
You don't tell me when you're hurting,
  You keep it locked inside,
Maybe you don't want me to care,
  Maybe it's just your pride.

You don't tell me to do something,
  You know I wouldn't do,
But I'd do almost anything
  If you'd ask me too.

You don't tell me if you like me,
  And that's what's killing me,
"Cause I'm sitting here, liking you,
Is that too hard to see?

If you don't tell me that you like me,
  I'll just sit here quietly,
But I hope you know I'll still go on
  Liking you silently.
