Son lashes back at the father whos been absent 29 years yet got the nerve to judge him..
Confusion hits like large waves, crashing heavily upon your head,
Fear creeps up, making you afraid to sleep in your own bed,
Anger comes in, and is quick to save the day,
By numbing all your senses, and taking all your cares away.

Lashing out, at the things you care for the most,
Feeling nothing but hate and resentment, towards anyone who boasts.
If they've got everything they need in life, surely they are thieves,
Or maybe they are liars, just trying to put themselves at ease.

I don't know, and I don't even really care
I'm so full of anger, go ahead, touch me if you dare,
Looking for a reason, to set the beast within me free,
Maybe once he lashes out, I can go back to just being me.

Expectations lead to disapointment, and disapointment leads to pain,
What's the use in taking chances, when there's nothing left to gain.
Screw the happy endings, happy endings just aren't real,
Live one day in my head, and then you can tell me how to feel.

Don't lecture me about immorality, I couldn't care less about how you feel,
And while we're talking morals, what's this about you, the hookers, and those little blue pills?
Why don't you grow a backbone, so you can do what you really want to do,
Quit beating around the bush with annoying antics, and tell me what you've always felt you needed to.

People like you disgust me, it's like the pot calling the kettle black,
Wipe the smudges off your surface and I'll wipe the semen off my back.
Don't expect me to jump through hoops, just to gain a father's love
You havn't ever been there anyways, I can't even remember our last hug.

So go back to where you came from, because it hasn't been in my life,
I've done just fine without you here and I'm just not comfortable with "your" type.
I'll go back to being Levi, and let the pieces fall where they may,
And I'll go on to die a bitter, angry, cold old man, like you, on one sad day.
