         Twins
Chapter One

"You were my all, I just wasn't able to realize how important you are to me. And now
that you are gone, everything seems so far away. Every minute is , making it hard
for me to put in my mind that you're really gone. It takes my breathe away to know
that this is my last goodbye..."

April 27, 1890, like a plant, half her body, half her life on the grave. Elisha struggling
for the life of her incoming daughter as well as for her own. "Breathe, almost there,
here she comes, she's born!." the nurse informed the new mother. "Michelle let's
name her Michelle, she's the most beautiful thing in the world." the first words that
came out of a mother's mouth after long hours of labor. "Excuse me ma'am but there
is another child, and she's a girl to!". After additional hours of labor, a sign of relief.
"This, this can't be, I only have one daughter! how is this possible?!" Elisha shocked.
At that moment David spoke, Denise name her Denise, such a blessing to us."
Unexpectedly  Denise was born, twin sister to Michelle, both babies blessings to
lucky parents Elisha and David.

The two twins, during the years of growing up never lost the attention, love and care
of their parents. Especially to Michelle, the attention of her parents are with her being the expected one. But soon that will change- It took time for Elisha to realize how much of a blessing Denise was to her and to David; a beautiful girl who grew up to be smart,  very quiet, the type who never disobeyed her parents. Changes do happen, Michelle, the expected one turned out to be the opposite; a juvenile, one
who always lost her focus, where in the future will mark the start of sibling rivalry.

Not before long, the girls started their schooling, and as expected Denise would be
the brightest in her class, and the friendliest to, and on the other hand Michelle the
most beautiful thing in the world, was again vice versa, she grew up to have a sour
attitude, treating people like they aren't people, with this behavior this gave her a
hard time gaining new friends. But even though Michelle is having attitude problems.
she is the most athletic in class. In school Denise would receive medals and
Michelle would get trophies for being athletic. Although Michelle would get trophies,
that didn't help in making her parents proud of her, for she doesn't have friends and
teachers would always have complaints about her. Years after, the attention of Elisha and David was soon divided, this made Michelle somehow jealous of Denise.

"Happy Birthday!" the day most celebrated for the two young ones. Their parents
threw a birthday party for the twins."Denise, you have quite a lot of presents, why
don't you start opening them." Denise blissfully and hurriedly ran into the huge pile
of presents and started opening them one by one. New dolls and new toys all around
the place. "Michelle you to" David told Michelle anticipating her reaction.
Enthusiastic about what gifts she received, the girl rushed towards her own pile of
gifts. Michelle curious and approached her parents, "Mom? Dad? How come Denise
has more gifts than I do?" Michelle wondered "Michelle, well.. I'm sorry to say but,
Denise has more friends than you do, don't you see, more of the people in your party
are Denise's friends." David explained. "Dad that's because she is such a suck up!
she keeps on sucking up to her teachers and she is such a hypocrite, a pretender,
and sorry dad but I am not like her!" Michelle answered back. David quite annoyed
by Michelle's attitude replied "Why don't you start acting like your sister, start being
a good daughter to us, so you'd get the love and care that you deserve!" After
hearing what her father had to say, Michelle walks out dismayed.

The following day, a sunny afternoon, Denise was at the poolside helping her nanny,
Maria, who was cleaning up the pool after the family swam. Denise started collecting
the floaters they used. "Maria you can go ahead and help Dorothy(their cook)
prepare lunch, I'll take it from here" Denise told her nanny kindly. "Are you sure?"
Maria asked. "Of course" Maria replied with a smile, "Go ahead and help Dorothy I'll
follow afterwards." she continued. Maria left still unsure of Denise's safety.

Denise wasn't really that athletic, especially when it comes to swimming. She would
always have floaters in the pool, or at least have Maria by her just in case she
drowns.

"Oops!" at that time Denise was surprised to see the all the floaters she was picking
up back into the pool. And who could have done that of course, Michelle!. "Why did
you do that what did I ever do to you?, that was so mean."Denise said confused and
somehow annoyed of what her sister did. "So you're asking me why?! How come
you don't know? If you do want to know, well.. I'll tell you, It's because you are such
a scum, in fact you're not even supposed to be here, You are nothing but a Leech!!!"
Splash! Michelle pushed Denise into the pool, knowing that Michelle couldn't swim.
That very moment Michelle scared and confused, ran to her room and left Denise
screaming for help. "Help! Someone help me, I cant.. swim!"
