Very short and funny story about getting new shoes.
My mother told me I needed a new pair of shoes.

I claim that my shoes were just fine.

But she said,

"Just Look at them, a hole at the heel, a tear a the side, and a worn out sole."

It was pointless to argue so off we went to the shoe store.

She oooh and ahhh at all those shoes,

that is, untill she saw the price.

Then she said,

"WHAT?! $120 for that?! ...well...Hey, you know what? That "really" small hole at

the heel can be easily patched up, and that tear at the side..nothing a needle and

some thread can't fix, and the sole..it really is not too bad. Now lets go home!"
