This was a spontaneous poem written for the promp "letter i in every word."
I Sit (recalling this morning):

Thistle swaying wildly
in brisk
morning air.
Fine stigmata searching frantically,
reproduction via hair.
Procreation in public view,
ancient heritage
witnessed.
In swinging chair sit I
inspired, uplifted.
