Brief poem of lost love
I Meter Time by You

I meter time by you,
And folly my days in thought,
Of living out life with you
In holy fulfillment of
That which is not.

I met you in dreaming,
And in dreaming we did love;
Without regard for final judgement,
Igonoring realities tethers,
And muses from above.

Oh I do love you,
With more passions than exist.
But to what end,
For this is merely dreaming
And in life I but now subsist.

So come fill your cup,
And drink the final dram;
Savor it's bitter taste,
Because the present is loathesome
And the future laid to waste.
