To me you're like an octopus!

Unhooked!

I gazed into your soft brown eyes
And darling, I was hooked.
You only had to reel me in.
Well, that's the way it looked.      *Heart*

But things aren't always what they seem
And now I realise
What you were offering to me
Was just a pack of lies.                  *Cry*

Well handsome is as handsome does.
Is that not what they say?
It might seem like some old adage
But it's still true today.                    *Cool*

You may have fooled some other girls
With all you wit and charms.
To me you're just an octopus,
With tentacles for arms.                  *Sick*

Go play your little games elsewhere
On me they just won't work
Have done with it!  Now go away
Crawl back into the murk.                *Angry*
