Changing Tomorrow Today
You had a bad day didn't you?
I can tell.
Before the words proceeded out of your mouth,
They were written on your face.
What can I do to make your day brighter?
Acknowledgement only brings more tears to your eyes
And sorrow to your stature
But after acknowledging something is the time to fix it.
Give me an idea to make you smile without changing
The past situation.
Do you want to talk about it?
Write about it?
Or think of another way to communicate it?
Either way or another is fine with me
Just as long as in the end your expression changes and
In another day this is a thought of the past.
I'm sure you'll have more bad days
Some worse than others.
If you help me fix today
cast out your worries
and give the time and pleasure we can
Solve tomorrow in another way.
