I'm telling myself lies
Every song that I hear
reminds me of your face
of your voice, of your eyes,
and my heart begins to race.

Every time my cell phone rings,
I wonder in my heart
If when I pick up the reciever,
It'll be your voice I hear start.

Every branch against my window,
I pray is a small stone,
That you, standing in the moonlight,
Have quietly, aiming, thrown.

But when the phone I answer,
and the song slowly dies,
I glance out of my window
and I realize.

I'm telling myself lies.
Because your so far away....
And I miss you.
