A ballad written for my friend Ivie; who is my personal authority on Greek mythology.
Someday I hope I'm able;
possessing enough creativity and guile,
to craft you your own fable
about how sun sprang from your smile.

Of the great reverse Pandora,
from whose grin, worldwide admired,
leapt forth the world's fauna and flora
in forms plenty and inspired.

The pantheon shall be redone-
Dionysus is replaced-
by a goddess, many times more fun,
and with by far a warmer face.

Your legend, it shall be retold
on vases, in red figure-
memories worth more than gold,
and your friendship sought with vigour.
