Love poem. Based on a real experience.
Your breath on my skin,
Kisses from your lips,
Your wandering hands,
Send shivers through my body.

What innocence I had left,
Is now gone.
I have to leave,
Although my body says to stay.

My senses heightened,
I can feel your every move.
The closer you get,
The more nervous I become.

This is driving me crazy.
I want so much more.
The words on the tip of my tongue,
My voice is paralyzed.

I turn and leave,
My breath staying with you.
I don't believe what happened.
It had to be a dream?

I stop to catch what breath I have left.
Realizing it all really happened.
Your scent is everywhere,
Surrounding encasing me.

I breathe your scent in,
For as long as I can,
Then spray away,
Any evidence left of our meeting.

As I sit,
I play what happened over and over.
Keeping it fresh in my mind.
And it still leaves me breathless!
