Personal realization.
Happy is open.
I watched a green jello mold suffocate vegetation.
That’s not how I wanna be-
stuck like shaved carrots.
A big neon sign blinks-
look inside at all the play-pretties in cages.
I think I’ll realize my own today.
Garbage day finally came.
And I took the trash to the curb-
waved goodbye,
while walking away.
Is this how a snake feels?
I took a lesson from European allies,
and was contrary,
crown jewels don’t belong in an ancient king’s shitter.
They lose their glow while immersed in safety.
I want to glitter.
Between the Godfather and Universal Creation,
wisdom reclines.
I want to die old, and complete-
like a rheumatic ache acquired through the pursuit of living.
