What old sorrow feels like, to me.
Dry Sad

I bathed my eyes in salt-
forgot to rinse.
It cleanses a wound-
Home Remedy(al) nonsense.
It dehydrates the ache-
I have dry socket of the soul,
and I fired my pharmacist.
I watch my age clothe me:
spots and veins.
Humanity’s modern art-
hang me on the wall
for your viewing pleasure.
It’s ok…
I know I'm crooked.
