Him breaking up with her never felt right especially now that they decided to stay friends
Your hands hide in your pockets as mine do too,
I feel awkward without your touch,
Without my goofy nicknames and my one major title,
My broken heart crumbles as I realize that friends is all we are,
That "best friend" is my new title,
I wanna say something,
I wanna bring it up,
But I dont wanna be the one,
I see your hand slip out of its cave,
And in two seconds I make up my mind,
I quickly grab yours and look the other way...
I don't wanna watch if you pull away,
I can feel your eyes on me,
Probably wanting a reason or an explanation,
But none do I offer,
I dont wanna speak,
Right there and then,
I just wanna be.
