It's all kind of things you need to read to get it.
Maybe the world will change
Maybe new things will range
But we can never forget
What we will always regret
Because it hurts us all more
If it was ripped away and torn
And for all the dead children
That died right there and then
We will always remember the things you did
And what you were like, when you were a kid
When you played with everyone
Your only weapon was a water gun
When your toys weren’t used with other people
So I stand high on this church steeple
To be repelled of all these mistakes
That we know every kid makes
That all there little proud faces
Don’t see the difference in races
Where they play together
No matter the weather
To live and have fun
While they're still young
When they still move with grace
And wonder in this place
If all there parents minds will be off battles
And more on buying there kids rattles
Or a pool to swim in when its hot
Forget about drugs people use like pot
Maybe they will remember
What it’s like to be together
Then maybe one day
Your family will be together
And will never leave to go away
And will live in the same house and be young forever
