A relationship accompanied by insecurities.
You don't know
just how it's been
since the summer lapsed to autumn
and the waves
came crashing in.

And that's just fine with me
as long as swings keep going round.
But don't stop pushing,
cause you know without you
my world falls to the ground.

And when I wonder what went wrong
I lose myself back to the time
when all your summers were like Christmas,
and presents grew from fingertips and wandered off.
And all that was just fine.

Cause in that moment the world turned on
the systematic scope.
And every molecule inside you
was for a future
full of hope.

So when I find you by the park bench
where you whisper in my ear.
Remember always how my summer left for autumn,
and the waves came crashing in,
when you weren't here.
