~A Mindful Rhyme~

Th' strewn, spring leaves,
ensuing me pleasure today,
Fled th’ tender trees;
bringing me joy daily,
~*~
Unfolds th’ written muse,
beyond a fulsome seize,
Th’ poets’ lovely verse;
a rhyming bard to please.
~*~
Through years of writing poetry,
traveling a tender path;
this, my port of entry,
bares no heartfelt wrath.
