Be careful or life will pass you by.
My words are meaningless
My thoughts are weak
My life passes before me
Day in and day out
My existence grows cold
Like an old forgotten story
You cross my mind
You leave the same way
As something no longer mine
The world slows down
The earth speeds up
And all we have is time
There are dreams in me
The naive desires
That will never be complete
I have never experienced
Such disconsolate pain
From something presented so sweet
There is love that is lost
And a heart is redeemed
And a smiling, happy face
But it all means nothing
For we all go away
To some distant, faraway place
