Why cant i tell her?
Cords tangled in multiple thoughts,
The knots rushing up to block the air,
Allowing a moment to pass that I should have caught
I see a room of disappointment turn and stare

Each time she passes the room blurs,
I suddenly become self aware
The clarity of sweat beneath these furs,
Isolates me in butterflies: it’s so unfair.

Alone in my room, thinking of her,
Songs playing with lyrics, that keep me thinking of her,
Dreams of love, yes of her,
Always, forever thinking of her
Always to afraid to tell her, to have her
