General Jaden out at sea.
At the End of All Things

General Jaden stood elegantly, hands joined behind his back as he faced the vast ocean that was presented in front of him. "The war has ended" Jaden thought. His hat lay atop his bald head, slightly askew from the weight of all the gleaming medals he had earned during his life. His breathed in, with the smell of salt filling his nostrils. And to think that such a primitive sailboat could embrace such an honorable general. His stamina returned, Jaden straightened his back, eyes wide at the sparkling sea. With a rigid arm, he executed a faultless salute to the ocean. "This is where I retire." He muttered to himself and closed his eyes.
