The mind is so easily corupted in so many interesting ways...
A raven sat inside my soul
With thoughts so sad and gloomy
Then in my heart he chewed a hole
And whispered such things to me.

He told me all the things he knew
of passed, and soon, and present
Some horrible, but all quite true
Not a one of them quite pleasant.

"A bear is on the sand" he said
"His bones are in the sea
His flesh is gone, as is his head
But he'll catch us all, you'll see."

His words I did some know or not
Though it mattered not to me.
For all the things I've learned he taught
I like best his company.

So call me not so strange and sad
For really its quite true
When I am gone - his fun is had
He'll fly away to you
