A lonely life...
It’s been thirteen years now,
She still cant remember
The last time she felt her mother’s love.

Too bad for her,
For even as a baby
She was an unwanted cur.

Ditched, at such a young age,
She grew up, in her make-believe world
For she was still very bold,
Her heart hadn’t yet curled.

All she craved for,
Was a little love and care
For she had been deprived,
Of her very fair share.

Alone she grew,
Alone she lived,
Alone she had been
All her life,
She felt like the only bee
Out of the hive.

“Is she destined to stay lonely?”, I ponder
But no,
In her life,
There is yet another wonder.

To change her destiny, she strived,
And yet another ray of hope
Touched her life.

The wounds, she thought that wouldn’t heal,
The pain, she felt which was just too real,
And what she thought, that only time could erase,
Had all changed…
True love entered her life.

Now a changed life, she leads
For she had lived her dreams
But even then,
She stands lonely,
Lonely in his heart…
