Fighting off the extinction of our distinction...
fighting off the extinction of our distinction,
by the systematic media saturation of our generation.
Where stereotypes become burial sites
contributing to the agitation of our situation.
I'm talking about the subliminal messages
hidden between promotional and pop cultural ads.
Can't you see? We're all following the fads.
Afraid to face the invisible judge and jury called norm,
put on trial if I don't conform for the crime of creativity.
Somehow a man's status is defined by what he has.
Or at least by what we see.
Falsified promos and rented logos all on the screen on TV.
Is this really who we be? that's why I'm...

fighting off the extinction of our distinction,
by the slated and often over-rated views of a few.
creating rules to control the masses is the power they abuse.
that's why I run with a few, there's too many setups for a crew.
there's always one without a clue. then he'll get caught,
hold us up and we'll all get caught and our moves will be through.
in the fight for what's true, you gotta stay smart,
brothers killing brothers trying to prove
the molecular differences between their testicular parts.
as long as we're apart we're destined to lose.
that's why I'm...

fighting off the extinction of our distinction.
and I'm not talking about resolution
by destructive rebellion nuisance sort,
but evolution...of the revolutionary sort.
