What is fear? In this peom we were told to write about an emotion.
FEAR

Fear is an instinct,
An instinct of mistrust,
The mistrust of danger,
Or expectation of pain.

Fear is an emotion,
An emotion unpleasant,
The unpleasant sense,
Of the stranger in the lane.

Fear is a thing,
A thing that prevents,
It prevents the bad,
Yet may turn you insane.
