Just a short story that I wrote describing the way that rain toys with our emotions.
What is rain?

Those mysterious droplets of life that fall to the ground at our feet and cover every surface in our sight with a slick sheen? Is it more than it appears to be? Is it magic that has the power to control the world's emotions as if they were mere marionettes only there to be abused by everything and everyone around them in the sick competition known as life? Is it the cleanser of our mistakes, our misfortunes, our sins? Does it slowly wash away the tears, sweat, and blood that have been savagely shed on this surface which is our everyday battlefield? Is it an outside perspective of life, love, greed, and hatred? A cruel audience watching our every move seeing and feeling what we cannot see or feel?

We'll never know.
