The difficuilties of unrequited love
I could cut her out of me,
But I need my heart,
Pictures of her are stained with my skin.
I wish I were to numb to be
Pulled and ripped apart,
But then it would be easier to dig in.

With a stapled mind I’m still,
Always sitting in silence.
I watch the blur and it will not wait.
Every hole that I fill,
Is shrouded with violence,
Its harder to love than to hate

The vermilion river is flowing,
I feel her stare like a spear,
And it’s piercing the cardiac levee.
The pain is showing,
With Blood seeping from my fear,
Until, save her spear, I’m empty
