A prayer for forgiveness
Lord my Savior,
My words, thoughts and deeds
Have marred the beauty you set in me
With my evil ways.
I was uncaring, unfeeling,
Unwilling to heed,
To be the me you wanted me to be.
Give me your mercy.
Set me free.
Set Christ’s example once more before me
That I might no longer sin against thee.
