My second poem...
Winter Nights

Winter nights with cold unforgiving winds
Oh how I feel their coldness
I feel their coldness within me as if those winds were a part of me
Apart of me blowing through me as if I were hollow

Then I see her
I see her and I know something isn't right
Then I see it a dagger
A dagger in her side

Blood running from her side
From her side running down her leg

Fear takes hold
Takes hold as the one I love falls to the ground
Falls to the ground bleeding to death on this winter night

Winter nights cold and desolate
Winter nights the warmth is gone
Winter nights the darkest nights of all

As I lie next to her my tears fall freely
My tears fall freely as I watch my only love die
As she draws her last breathe and dies silently
Dies silently with dry eyes

My love's life will not be the only life lost tonight
Tonight two live shall be lost
She is dead and my ability to love has died with her
Soon I shall be dead as well

I take the dagger from her side
With this dagger in my heart
In my heart I take my life

Winter nights cold and desolate
Winter nights the warmth is gone
Winter nights the darkest nights of all
