I really did tell a lie.
I believe I told a lie.

I once thought I was the example.
Something to follow, something to acheive.

I believe I told a lie.

I used to seek my pride in whole things.
Something I could do with my mom.

And today, I tell another lie.

A lie about my truth and my false
Because all I've ever claimed to be has burned
And ashes of filthy air are all I am left to breathe

So tell me how to clean my lie!

Honesty is only pain
And secrecy breeds only shame

Did I expect to get out alive
Unharmed and no bruise?

I'll be honest, for once, and tell myself the cost is too big to bare
I'm the whore. I'm the evil.
I'm the lie and I'll try to tell not one more.
