A poem about a demon portrayed as darkness capturing the light of dawn.
Moonlight

The pale light is nearing
Your eyes shall soon open
The darkness is receding
You will see the earth again.

Will you battle with your demons?
How long wait until they've gone?
When the sleeplessness of mornings
Take you in their hand, have won?

We will always be together-
you were the very first to mourn
Kneeling before your father
wearing a crown of thorns

You shall steel beside him no longer-
kept in these chains for protecting-
You say you’ll stay beside him forever -
stay until you are nothing.

But I have crucified his passion-
and he has left your soul to me.
Husshh be still my own creation-
likened to my enemy.

You’ll live in deadliness forever-
smiling at your own decay
No don’t let me die alone here!
don't let my magic fade away.

im so bitter for this lover
steal the breath from starless sky
surrender all your will now
Take this spirit- kill her might

the sunshine will soon be gone dear
Now once again the moon shall hide
all the beauty of the darkness
and dying miracles of life.
