Nostalgia of childhood
Grubby haloed angels streak;
Inky black midnight skies,
With incandescent tears of God.

Drawing lost places;
On the dimming canvas of youth,
Found only in children’s tales.

We blink and they fade;
Like a light in the darkness,
Seen through the watery eyes of babes’.
