Letter to hannah

i look at a picture of you
and i weep.

because i know that i am not looking at you, but
a memory of you that is frozen.

and i go out and i meet a girl, and we go to her
place and its fun

then every morning i know i must leave

and i go back to the couch
that isnt mine in the room
that isnt mine
with the friends that arent mine

and i wait for them to go to sleep

then i look at that picture of you
and i weep.

because its mine.

and it means more to me than youll ever care to know.
