Giving yourself to someone emotionally isn't always easy
I am bare.

I am barely there.

I stand naked before you, bouncing breasts and tangled mane,

Demanding your attention; Defying your aversion.

The world must have an amber hue,

To have missed the blonde girl right in front of you.

I am bare

and I barely care

That my sun-pink skin is on display

An untanned leatherhanging on this mannequin

A mere jacket from the rain...

A coat to hide my veins...

I am bare. I am barely there. Fading...

before your eyes

my clothes, my skin, my soul, my beauty, my sin, my courage...

I willingly bare all of myself to you

But

The more I bare... The less you see.

And the more I bear

The less I am me.
