Impressions of miss Cherry. A playful attempt at poems within poems.
Spaghetti and Miss Cherrie

By :Rusty Cason

On a beautiful day in a most plesent way,

I met Misses Cherry to eat.

We talked for a while then I said with a smile,

your a wonderful pleasure to meet.

Chatting away as she joked and she played,

I noticed her little girl side.

Lit up like a light with her smileful delight,

we laughed till we practially cried.

Impressed by that smile, I thought for a while -

of a poem expressing my bliss.

I wanted to share what I felt in my heart

it sounded a little like this:

SHE SHINES

by Rusty Cason

Like tiny rays of light that shine across the evening sky

You sparkle like the twinkle people see within your eye.

Louise should be a metaphore for one that reaches out.

You share your light with everyone and thats what life's about.

A light house on a stormy night, Louise will give them hope.

You bring to them a beaming smile to help them while they cope.

What else could someone ask of you, your giving from the heart.

Your light shines out on all of us and that sets you apart.

* SHINE ON LOUISE *

Our dinner was great and well worth the wait

Miss Cherry brought smile after smile.

Her poise was the best, heaven sent like the rest

but it took second place to her style.
