I feel like the flame
Burn your spirit tonight
Modern respiration, quiet isolation

Smoke and mirrors
Among kerosene heaters
I feel the deadened light through my eyes

I don’t know how to say
Tenth time and gone away
Out of tune and out of time
Broken out and broken rhyme
